Native Source was founded in 1987 by Jimmy De La Torre. Inspired to create something of his own, Jimmy established a small nursery that quickly grew into a thriving family business. Today, Native Source has evolved into one of the leading groundcover suppliers in Southern California, providing high-quality plants grown with care and dedication.

Our nursery specializes in native and drought-tolerant plants, carefully cultivated to meet the needs of sustainable landscapes. From ground covers and grasses to succulents, we offer a diverse range of plants that add both beauty and sustainability to any outdoor space. We grow our plants in liners, 2″ pots, 4″ pots, mudflats, and gallons—suitable for a wide variety of landscaping projects.
